Adrian Papazzo

Position: Senior Auditor B.Bus (Acc)

In 2005 Adrian joined Bell Partners as a Graduate Accountant and has since been appointed to Senior Auditor. An average week involves travelling to a client site with colleagues, discussing the audit plan for the week and then undertaking the appropriate audit procedures. A lot of time is spent meeting with the client to gain an understanding of their business and obtaining the necessary documentation.

Rock climbing, bike riding, working out at the gym and going to the football to support Essendon passes his time.

Anthony

Anthony Steer

Position: Manager Chartered Accountant BCom

Anthony’s position as Audit Manager involves performing and supervising the conduct of audits and preparation of statutory financial reports. He started in 2005 and enjoys exposure to a diverse group of clients and the variety of his assignments.

Anthony understands accounting and auditing standards and has responsibility for both his team and his clients adherence to those standards.

Playing football, wakeboarding and taking the dog to the beach are some of the things he likes to do in his spare time.

Bonnie Hutson

Position: Graduate Accountant

Bonnie joined Bell Partners in 2010 to assist our corportate advisory team on a part-time basis. She is undertaking a double degree in Arts/Business (majoring in Accounting and German) at Monash University.Her hobbies include travelling, reading and listening to music. 

Jaclyn

Jaclyn Lau

Position: Accountant BA (Hons)

Jaclyn began her career working with BDO Binder Public Accountants in the capacity of audit junior in Malaysia. She joined Bell Partners in 2008 and is currently studying to become a Certified Practising Accountant. A typical day for Jaclyn consists of preparing financial reports and completing superfund audits.

Jaclyn likes to cook and watch DVD’s in her spare time.

John Low

Position: Graduate Accountant BCom

John joined Bell Partners as a Graduate Accountant in January 2011 having recently completed his Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting, Marketing) and Diploma of Modern Languages in Japanese, at Melbourne University.

John is currently studying for his Chartered Accountant accreditation.

Lauren

Lauren Buckley

Position: Graduate Accountant BA, Bed(Sec), MPA

Whilst teaching maths at a secondary college, Lauren realised that she had a real love of numbers and enrolled in a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting. In 2008 she joined Bell Partners as a Graduate Accountant and has recently completed her Master of Professional Accounting.Typical daily duties include processing tax returns, preparing accounts & working papers, MYOB processing and the completion of quarterly BAS statements. Other tasks include going out on audits with other members of the audit team. 

Reading, swimming, playing basketball & netball are just some of the things Lauren likes to do in her spare time, as well as catching up with friends and family.

Ryan

Ryan Dummett

Position: Partner Chartered Accountant Registered Company Auditor BCom

Ryan joined the team in 1996 and in 2009 was promoted to Partner. He is the responsible Partner for the Audit & Assurance division and believes that “Bell Partners provides plenty of opportunities to advance if you are prepared to put in the hard work”.Growing the audit division, mentoring staff and signing off on audit reports are just some of the things Ryan does on a daily basis. He is regularly out of the office overseeing an audit at a client’s premises. In addition to his client responsibilities, Ryan is our technical guru particularly in the areas of accounting and auditing standards which is the back bone of an audit and assurance firm. 

Ryan loves spending time playing with his children and doing the odd construction project. He is a keen camper and when he gets the chance he also enjoys hitting the beach to get some surfing in.

Terry

Terry Rees

Position: Managing Partner Chartered Accountant Registered Company Auditor

Terry received his original training and experience with accounting firms which are now part of Pitcher Partners and Ernst & Young. In the late 70s he supported John Bell in the establishment of Bell Partners in its humble beginnings in the southern suburb of Hampton. Whilst leading Bell Partners Terry has worked with clients in the areas of assurance, business valuations, business sales and acquisitions, family business restructuring and coaching and estate planning.In their spare time, Terry and Rosemary enjoy breeding pure bred Hereford cattle on their farm in South Gippsland.
